Human Research Technologist - Cognition, Affect and Temperament Laboratory
Responsibilities
- Recruiting, scheduling appointments, and maintaining contact with children and their families (virtually or in-person)
- Work with participants and their families to complete consent forms and collect in-person data
- Collecting, processing, and analyzing behavioral, neural, and/or eye-tracking data
- Handling the day-to-day activities in the lab, such as coordinating with the Institutional Review Board
- Disseminating data using a national data archive
- Cooking with a large and dynamic team of researchers
- Working with undergraduate students who conduct research or assist in preparation of data; may assist in the interviewing, training, and scheduling of these students
Requirements
- Average 4 years of relevant work experience
- Associate Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field
- Previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education
- Research experience with children
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field
- Experience in a lab that conducts behavioral coding, neuroimaging, or eye-tracking studies

Schedule
This position requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends, primarily to accommodate the availability of participating families.
