About the role
The Human Factors Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of aviation systems. This position requires a deep understanding of human behavior and its impact on aircraft operations.
Responsibilities
- Conducting research and analysis to improve human factors in aviation systems
- Developing and implementing training programs for pilots and crew members
- Evaluating and improving existing aviation procedures based on human factors principles
- Collaborating with other departments to integrate human factors considerations into all aspects of aviation operations
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in aviation or human factors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of human factors principles and their application in aviation
- Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
$100,000 - $130,000 per year
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed
