Responsibilities
- Develop vehicle occupant packages based off of existing vehicles (helicopters and fixed wing).
- Perform testing and analysis related to human factors supporting everything from physical cockpit layout to the UI/UX.
- Generate and release documentation, including test plans and test reports in support of FAA Certification.
- Create and modify engineering CAD and drawings for parts and assemblies and create tooling to aid with manufacturing.
- Leverage your creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills to push the boundaries of design and innovation in aviation.
- Work cross-functionally with other Skyryse teams to accomplish project goals, including design, engineering, and marketing.
- Occasionally participate in design efforts outside of your area of expertise as necessary and as your skillset dictates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Human Factors Engineer and/or Psychology.
- A combined 5+ years of experience working with vehicle engineering with human factors, vehicle packaging and/or mechanical engineering.
- Proven ability to use Solidworks and/or CATIA with experience with Digital Human Models (Example: RAMSIS).
- Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple parallel-path projects.

$100,000 - $180,000
