Main Purpose of Job

The Human Capital Strategy Coordinator will equip FAMLI to effectively deliver paid leave to Maryland workers by facilitating talent acquisition and organizational growth. As part of the Human Capital Strategy team, the coordinator will have the opportunity to help build a team that focuses on a number of exciting human capital challenges that come with a new, fast-growing organization, such as providing guidance and support to managers in hiring and performance management; assessing workforce gaps and identifying strategies to address them; and creating and implementing strategies for creating a culture that attracts and retains excellent employees.

Position Duties

  • Facilitate talent acquisition and organizational growth for FAMLI.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in hiring and performance management.
  • Absorb and analyze data to assess workforce gaps and identify strategies to address them.
  • Create and implement strategies for building a culture that attracts and retains excellent employees.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Two years of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
  • Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of the required experience.
  • Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
