Administrative Coordinator III
About the role
Corning is seeking an individual to join our team as an HR Administrator. This role provides administrative support to the plant manager and staff, ensuring the administration of HR programs, processes, and policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, make travel arrangements, coordinate executive visits and arrangements, manage plant visitors, prepare presentations, manage group visits, etc.
- Provide event coordination for facility, including training events, outside plant visits, celebrations, service award events, etc.
- Provide data reporting and analysis for various functions such as financial head counting, recognition reporting, time to fill openings, plant service, annual staffing, etc.
- HR/Payroll administrator for A&T and M&P employees. SME on Kronos system, clears payroll for facility, audits time, instructs supervisors on use and questions, Monitors holiday and shift patterns for accuracy, etc.
- Develops plant communication and training calendars, publishes to organization.
- Acts as one of the first points of contact for employees on general requests.
- Implements HR programs / processes / policies in compliance with current legal and regulatory policies and assesses them to determine the extent they support Corning Values and positive work environment.
- Recommends areas for standardization of HR programs / processes / policies, as appropriate, to reduce complexity of administration and associated costs.
- Builds HR reputation through value-added interactions with customers.
- Responsible for analysis and reporting of data contained in the HR systems with a strong focus on training.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in related field
- Prior administrative experience in a professional or manufacturing/plant environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Process development for repeatable results and sustained improvement
- Able to initiate and handle multiple tasks and projects as necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Benefits
The range for this position is $62,786.00 - $86,332.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
