About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Capital Business Partner to join our Human Capital Team at J.F. Brennan Company. This role involves maximizing organizational performance through partnerships with employees and management in designated business groups and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the employment and onboarding process, including serving as the primary liaison with talent acquisition and hiring managers, proactively determining staffing needs and designing positions, supporting onboarding and on-the-job training plans.
  • Manage the performance management program (PMP) for the respective business group/department, customizing the PMP to reduce complexity and increase engagement to maximize the full value of performance management.
  • Provide proactive coaching and consultative services to their respective business group/department by forging strong relationships and maintaining an engaged pulse of the group/department and the organization.
  • Provide career development support for managers and employees to strategically deploy resources, grow and develop employees for ongoing sustainability of the business, including development of training programs.
  • Provide compensation and benefits support for the respective business group/department.
  • Partner with business groups/departments in design and execution of employee engagement programs.
  • Partner with business groups/departments to enhance communication in all directions.
  • Provide administration of various compliance-oriented processes (FMLA, ADA, leaves, etc).
  • Provide policy design and implementation expertise that supports the business and operational groups.
  • Provide analysis to assist in various HC projects and initiatives.
  • Able to travel 20% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the HR field.
  • Analytical and goal oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, on computers and other electronic devices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be a self-starter, highly organized, and creative.
  • Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to accurately benchmark project length, deliver on deadlines.
