About the Role

The Resident Manager I is directly responsible for managing the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical, and social soundness. The Resident Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the property, including administrative, facilities, and marketing tasks at different properties in Morgan Hill/Greenfield, CA.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, makes bank deposits, prepares and submits rent roll, verifies income
• Complies with HUD, TCAC, or other regulations
• Maintains waiting list, prepares and processes leases
• Supervises on-site staff
• Processes evictions, conducts annual inspections, and coordinates repair
• For HUD properties, submits vouchers
• Develops and implements budgets and variance reports

Requirements

• 1+ year of property management experience
• Experience with affordable housing property management
• HUD experience (Tax Credit experience a plus)
• Ability to develop and implement budgets and variance reports
• Skills in resident problem solving and staff management
• Goals-oriented with a warm personality

Qualifications

EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer. Any household members over 18 years of age who will be living onsite must also undergo a criminal background check and tenant screening. Certain roles may require fingerprinting due to legal requirements. EAH also verifies education and employment history.

EAH Housing requires all candidates who have received a conditional job offer to submit to drug testing within 72 hours from acceptance of the job offer. EAH Housing does not test for marijuana/cannabis.

Pay

Salary range: $27.50 - $44.00 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $27.50 - $35.75 per hour, depending on experience. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.
