HUB Program Coordinator (Student Services Professional III)
Job/Department Summary
The Student Services Professional III performs complex Student Services professional work characterized by independent student advisement and guidance in individual and group settings. This position oversees an intentional and accountable residential life programming model which includes social, recreational, spiritual and educational outcomes. The incumbent works directly with and advises the UH student governance council, the Chico State National Residence Hall Honorary Chapter, and the UH residence hall programming board. Additionally, the incumbent provides guidance in collaboration with UH staff in the development, implementation, and administration of policy, procedures, and operating principles pertaining to residential life programming, student governance/advising, and the residence hall programming board.
About the Role
This position is responsible for advising students and overseeing residential life programming. The incumbent will advise the UH student governance council, the Chico State National Residence Hall Honorary Chapter, and the UH residence hall programming board. They will also provide guidance in developing, implementing, and administering policies and procedures related to residential life programming, student governance/advising, and the residence hall programming board.
Responsibilities
- Advises students in individual and group settings

Requirements
- Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or a job-related field
- Three years of full-time professional experience in one of the student services program areas or in a related field
- Master’s degree in a job-related field may be substituted for one year of the professional experience
- Experience Advising a community or hall council or student group
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Behavioral, Social Science, College Student Professional, Higher Education, Counseling, Management, Public Administration, Sociology, or a related discipline
- One year of full-time equivalent experience in the assigned area
Skills
- High degree of judgment or persuasiveness, imagination, and professional skills

Pay
$66,480 - $94,716 per year.
Schedule
Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm, Summer: Mon-Thurs 7:00am-5:30pm
