Hub Buyer

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Hub Buyer to join our Purchasing team and play a key role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives across a multi-site environment. This position is responsible for managing supplier performance, delivering cost savings, and implementing regional and global purchasing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Indirect Category Strategy implementation and ownership, driving value beyond transactional purchasing
• Analyze and manage spend, savings, and performance metrics, leveraging data to inform decisions
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost optimization and meet annual savings targets
• Collaborate across multiple sites to standardize processes and enhance purchasing efficiency
• Drive alignment with cross-functional stakeholders, influencing decisions and ensuring business objectives are met
• Support supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Proven experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into tangible action plans and fast execution.
Experience working in a multi-site or global environment
Ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions and levels
A strategic thinker who can move beyond transactional buying to deliver long-term value

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A minimum English proficiency level of A2
