About the role
We are seeking a skilled HSE professional for our Beaumont location.
Responsibilities
- Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety, and Environmental management.
- Maintain relevant HSE logs.
- Maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 documentation.
- Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.
- Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues and make recommendations to facility management.
- Participate in detailed incident investigations and promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
- Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training.
- Observe HSE regulations, wear all required safety equipment, encourage safe working practices, and correct obvious hazards immediately or report them to the proper personnel.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Manage environmental waste, wastewater, storm water, SARA reports, etc.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or certified training in HSE field preferred.
- A minimum of 5+ years of HSE experience required.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations and industry standards (NFPA, ASME, ANSI, etc.) applicable to the manufacturing industry.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.
- Excellent oral and presentation skills.
- First aid, CPR, and AED trainer preferred.
- Good analysis and reporting skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Spanish bilingual preferred.
