About the role

The Optical Communications segment of Corning is seeking a Customer Experience Program Manager to support one of our Hyperscale Data Center customers. This role involves strategic account management, coordination with cross-functional teams, and managing a team of Program Specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic account management support to ensure customer expectations are met and access is achieved.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, PLM, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to mitigate risks and satisfy stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations and responsibilities of the CEx Program Specialists for assigned accounts.
  • Engage frequently with various functions at the customer and partner levels, requiring frequent interaction and problem-solving.
  • Leverage strategic platforms, automation, and digital capabilities to reduce effort and improve service to delight customers.
  • Support contract negotiations and track monthly progress against the existing contract to manage price breaks.
  • Assume ownership of certain orders/products/projects requiring higher touch points than standard products.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop a continuous improvement mindset within the team.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree and 5+ years of relevant work and leadership experience.
  • Experience engaging with diverse organizational levels of experience.
  • Experience driving organizational change (people, process, technology).
  • A working knowledge of how to strategically and financially evaluate opportunities and communicate recommendations.
  • Strong data mining and analytical skills to build confidence in data communicated to leadership and customers.
  • Presentation skills, especially executive-level packaging and presenting to leadership.
  • Direct customer engagement experience, including presenting, negotiating, and/or training on strategic platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify and lead improvement initiatives that deliver process efficiencies and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree and 5+ years of relevant work and leadership experience.

  • Collaborative mindset while working with a cross-functional team.
  • DMAIC Green Belt certification.

Benefits

This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $112,402.00 - $154,553.00 assuming full-time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
