About the role

TTUHSC is a nationally recognized institution that provides comprehensive clinical services and educates students. The role involves performing specialized post-doctoral work in research projects, interpreting results, and supervising research and student assistants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments and collect, analyze, and present data.
• Work independently and follow all project protocols, including IRB and IACUC guidelines.
• Organize and allocate the workload of employees, providing training and supervision as needed.
• Right scientific manuscripts and work with lab animals.
• Occasional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in area of project specialization.
• Knowledge of modern research practices, methods, resources, and standards.
• Ability to organize work effectively, prioritize objectives, and exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other employees and the public.
• Expertise in parasitology, immunology, or vaccines/systems biology (preferred).

Pay

Monthly Pay Grade: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00. Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
