Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective and compassionate care to Brown University Health patients under supervision.
- Participate fully in the educational activities of the applicable program.
- Review of relevant literature and participation in a range of research activities.
- Completion of pilot projects or examination of data from the mentor’s line of research.
- Preparation of manuscripts and presentations for national conferences.
- Development and submission of research proposals during the fellowship period.
- Complement research activities and mentorship with didactic educational opportunities.
Qualifications
- BASIC KNOWLEDGE: PhD with doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or MD with relevant residency training or doctoral degree in a relevant discipline. Completion of relevant doctoral degree or MD and relevant residency.
- INDEPENDENT ACTION: Performs independently within the department’s policies and practices. Refers specific complex problems to the supervisor when clarification of the departmental policies and procedures are required.
- SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Supervision of Fellows is expected dependent upon research.
