HS Varsity Golf Assistant Coach (Men's)

About the Role

An Assistant Athletic Coach reports to the Athletic Director and the Head Coach. The role involves assisting with the design and implementation of the athletic program for the assigned sport in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of students during all aspects of the program.
• Serve as a positive role model to student athletes.
• Represent Mountain Island Charter School professionally.
• Upgrade knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, and consultation.

Requirements

• Possess administrative and organizational skills.
• Thorough knowledge of Mountain Island Charter School’s athletic policy, NCHSAA, and PCAC policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community.
• Must meet requirements established by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, Mountain Island Charter School, and school administration.
• Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.
