HS/MS Head Track and Field Coach

About the role

Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver is seeking an experienced HS/MS Head Track and Field Coach to lead our athletic program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching and a proven track record in developing athletes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive track and field training program that aligns with the academy's educational goals.
• Manage team logistics including scheduling practices, competitions, and travel arrangements.
• Work closely with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Provide individualized coaching and support to student-athletes, focusing on both athletic performance and personal development.
• Attend all necessary meetings and events related to the track and field program.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in physical education, coaching, or a related field.
• At least three years of successful coaching experience at the high school or middle school level.
• Experience in track and field coaching, including knowledge of various track and field events.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
