HS/MS Assistant Track and Field Coach

About the role

The Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Denver is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HS/MS Assistant Track and Field Coach to join our dynamic athletics program.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Track and Field Coach in all aspects of coaching, including practice planning, game preparation, and player development.
• Work closely with students to improve their athletic skills and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in physical education or a related field.
• At least two years of experience as a track and field coach at the high school level.
• Strong knowledge of track and field rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young athletes.

Skills

• Proficiency in using sports management software.
• Knowledge of nutrition and recovery techniques.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
