HRIS Solution Architect

For our client, a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space, we are seeking a HRIS Solution Architect to own compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that help attract, retain, and motivate talent at scale. You will partner with people leaders, finance, and executive stakeholders to align rewards programs with business needs and employee experience. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen pay practices, improve program governance, and create more consistent outcomes within a consumer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, AI-ready People Tech systems that automate HR processes
• Champion implementation of AI agents to innovate workflows and insights
• Build impactful applications using Workday Extend and complex integrations in supported languages
• Lead technical strategy and define system boundaries and data flows with Enterprise Architecture
• Design event-driven integration patterns and manage RESTful/SOAP APIs
• Establish integration patterns and architectural standards, and implement system monitoring
• Advocate for data integrity and build resilient data pipelines for analytics platforms
• Ensure system security and compliance with architectural designs and OAuth protocols

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in evaluating, designing, and implementing People Technology, especially Workday
• Deep technical mastery of Workday modules (HCM, Advanced Comp, Benefits, Talent)
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend, Prism, and complex HR integrations
• Understanding of modern engineering practices, including Git and CI/CD
• Expertise in OAuth 2.0 and API security models for compliance
• Strong project management skills with ability to navigate ambiguity
• Effective collaboration skills to facilitate design discussions

Pay

$103,100 – $172,000 annually
