Location: Herndon, VA
Pay Range: $40.00 - $46.00 /hour
Schedule: 1st shift
Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize HRIS and HRMS platforms to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Support system administration, configuration, upgrades, and customization efforts.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and system functionality.
- Partner with HR, IT, and Data Privacy teams to implement innovative technology solutions.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, data privacy standards, and security requirements.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert and strategic liaison with HR technology vendors and service providers.
- Analyze system effectiveness through user feedback, data analysis, and performance metrics.
- Support Workday implementation initiatives across Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, Time Management, Payroll, and ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and prioritize project deliverables.
- Coordinate project timelines, resources, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Translate business needs into scalable HR technology solutions.
- Assist with post-implementation optimization and continuous improvement activities.
- Address system challenges and identify process improvements that enhance user satisfaction.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance for HR system users.
- Manage user permissions, security access, and system configurations.
- Create and maintain HR process documentation and reporting guides.
- Support HR Business Partners and employees with HR technology questions and requests.
- Collaborate with HR and HRIS teams to promote consistency and best practices across multiple locations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting diverse employee needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting HRIS platforms and implementing HCM and Payroll systems.
- Experience working with enterprise HR technology solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, administration, HR support, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, HRIS administration, and HCM systems.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday HCM Suite, especially HCM, Time Management, and Payroll.
- Experience with Dayforce, Business Solver, or similar HR platforms.
- Participation in Workday implementation or transformation projects.
- Knowledge of Organizational Administration tools and related HR technologies.
- Familiarity with workflow automation, scripting, HTML, Visual Basic, or basic coding concepts.
- Experience supporting global or multi-site HR operations.
