About the role
This role is required to report to our Cambridge office 3 days per week - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Drive the UKG Ready Implementation: Successfully project manage and complete our current UKG Ready implementation. Ensure system configuration, testing, and rollout are seamless, and drive strong user adoption across the business.
- Maximize Our Systems Strategy: Don't just maintain the HRIS; unlock its potential. Be the internal expert and go-to resource for getting the absolute most out of our technology stack, ensuring our systems are built for scale, compliance, and user experience.
- Champion AI & Automation: Act as the vanguard for AI within the People Ops function. Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools and advanced automation to eliminate manual tasks, optimize workflows, and win back strategic bandwidth for the entire team.
- Relentlessly Optimize Workflows: Partner closely with the People Operations team to audit existing processes. Redesign and automate everything from onboarding flows to compensation cycles, ensuring technology does the heavy lifting.
- Lead People Analytics & Dashboards: Transform complex people data into clear, actionable insights. Build and maintain automated dashboards reporting on headcount, attrition, and total rewards to help business leaders make proactive, data-driven decisions.
- Ensure Data Integrity & Security: Act as the ultimate gatekeeper for our people data. Establish rigorous auditing processes, role-based permissions, and compliance standards (spanning US and Northern Ireland considerations) to keep our data pristine and secure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of dedicated HRIS experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience with a proven track record of owning systems strategy and architecture at a growing, multi-location organization.
- Direct, hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and optimizing UKG Ready is a must. You know the system's quirks, its capabilities, and how to push it to its limits.
- A "Builder's" Mindset for AI and Tech: You aren't just reading about AI; you are actively experimenting with it. You have a demonstrable history of using technology to automate processes, reduce friction, and solve complex business problems.
- Strong Analytical Chops: You are highly proficient with data manipulation and visualization. You know how to extract data from an HRIS and format it into compelling, easy-to-read dashboards (experience with BI tools or advanced Excel/Sheets is expected).

Benefits
- The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location. The base salary for this full-time hybrid role is $105,000-125,000.
- In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in variable cash bonus programs, equity, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility which are designated by role.
