About the role
The HRIS Analyst I (Oracle Fusion HCM) serves as a liaison between the IT organization and business stakeholders, supporting Oracle Fusion HCM systems across a range of HR business processes.
Responsibilities
- Quickly learn and develop working knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM functionality and assigned applications
- Gain an understanding of business processes supported by assigned HCM modules
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for Oracle Fusion HCM applications
- Participate in Oracle quarterly patch testing, including impact analysis, test execution, defect tracking, and validation of fixes
- Use SQL and reporting tools to analyze data and assist with troubleshooting application issues
- Work with end users to understand, document, and reproduce system issues
- Communicate issues and requirements effectively to technical teams, assist in solution development, validate fixes, and support deployments
- Support end user training and provide guidance on the proper use of assigned systems
- Maintain accountability for the quality, accuracy, and stability of assigned applications
- Create test plans, test scripts, and related documentation
- Create user guides, job aids, and recorded training materials as needed
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions and document business and functional requirements
- Produce clear, well-structured documentation that can be easily understood by developers and technical teams
- Collaborate closely with managers and cross-functional technical and functional team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 1+ years of functional experience in technology support or related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented HCM environment
- Foundational understanding of HR business processes and their relationship to IT systems and solutions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of functional experience in a technology support or related field
- Experience of working with Oracle HCM Cloud applications
- Good understanding of industry and business process trends
