Responsibilities
- Solution Delivery & Managed Services Oversight (Approx. 30–35%)
- Provide functional and technical leadership for Oracle Fusion HCM initiatives, including enhancements, integrations, reporting, and ongoing production support.
- Provide governance and oversight of managed service providers and implementation partners, including work intake, prioritization, solution review, quality assurance, and performance management against established service levels and contractual commitments.
- Functional Ownership – Oracle Fusion HCM (Approx. 25–30%)
- Provide hands‑on functional expertise across Oracle Fusion HCM modules such as Core HR, Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Compensation, Benefits, and related functionality as applicable.
- Own and continuously improve end‑to‑end Hire‑to‑Retire processes, including worker lifecycle events, recruiting‑to‑hire, compensation and benefits cycles, and employee self‑service.
- Partner with HR leadership and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve business processes and maximize the value of Oracle Fusion HCM investments.
- Analyze functional issues across configuration, setups, security, and process flows; recommend improvements using standard Oracle functionality where possible.
- Ensure solutions align with HR controls, audit requirements, data privacy standards, and regulatory compliance expectations.
- Technical Delivery – Integrations, Automation & Data (Approx. 20–25%)
- Design, build, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including REST/SOAP, file‑based, and event‑driven integration patterns.
- Maintain and enhance Oracle Fusion HCM and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., payroll, time, benefits, recruiting partners), ensuring strong controls around scheduling, reconciliation, monitoring, and error handling.
- Support data movement using supported Oracle tools such as HCM Data Loader (HDL), extracts, and inbound/outbound interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to integrations, data loads, ESS jobs, access, and security; perform root‑cause analysis and drive long‑term fixes.
- Partner with Oracle Support to open, manage, and resolve service requests.
- Reporting, Analytics & Documentation (Approx. 10–15%)
- Develop and support HR operational and analytical reporting using OTBI and BI Publisher, including role‑based access considerations for sensitive data.
- Develop and manage audits, integrations, conversions, and operational needs.
- Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles covering configurations, integrations, recurring issues, and support procedures.
- Release, Testing & Environment Support (Approx. 10–15%)
- Coordinate quarterly Oracle Fusion HCM updates and patch assessments, including impact analysis, testing support, and deployment readiness.
- Drive and participate in Agile delivery practices, including user stories, test scenarios, defect tracking, and deployment validation.
- Cook User Acceptance Testing with HR and business partners and ensure issues are triaged and resolved.
- Lead and coordinate environment migrations and deployment activities following defined change and release management processes.
- Stakeholder Partnership & Enablement (Approx. 5–10%)
- Facilitate functional requirements sessions and solution workshops with business stakeholders.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business‑friendly language.
- Support end‑user and support‑team enablement through job aids, SOPs, and reference documentation.
Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years experience supporting and enhancing Oracle Fusion HCM solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM, including Hire‑to‑Retire business processes.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, HCM Data Loader, OTBI, and BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, Workforce Compensation, Absence Management, Oracle Guided Journeys, Talent Management (Oracle Recruiting Cloud, ORC).
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate work delivered by third‑party managed service providers, consulting partners, or system integrators (without direct people management) is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills in a production enterprise environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, assess risk, and make independent decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of change management, release management, audit controls, and data privacy principles in HR systems.
