HRC Driver Assistant

Responsibilities

• Partner with agency driver to pick up food from local grocery stores and restaurants following a designated pick‑up route.
• Assist driver with taking the temperature of and loading donated items into agency van for transport back to HR.
• Help unload food from van into Hunger Resource Center and document weight of food.
• Store perishable food in walk‑in coolers and freezers as needed.
• Serve as NVFS representative to the donating public with a warm demeanor and interactions, providing information as needed to both donor and NVFS staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, load and unload boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Must be a great team player.
