About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our global People team at NoTraffic, based in Kansas City, KS. In this role, you’ll partner closely with managers and employees across the US organization to support business goals through effective people practices, employee engagement, organizational development, performance management, and day-to-day HR guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with managers and leadership teams to understand business needs and translate them into action items.
  • Provide hands-on HR support and guidance across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance, engagement, retention, growth, and offboarding.
  • Support managers in performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, development plans, and employee relations matters.
  • Lead and support people initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, culture, communication, and team effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing thoughtful, practical, and consistent HR guidance.
  • Use people data and insights to identify trends, highlight risks, and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Support organizational changes, team growth, and scaling processes while maintaining a strong employee experience.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist in a hi-tech / startup environment.
  • Experience partnering with managers and leaders across different functions and seniority levels.
  • Strong understanding of core HR practices, including performance management, employee relations, engagement, organizational development, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience supporting fast-paced, scaling organizations and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong business orientation and the ability to connect people initiatives to company goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across the organization.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with people data to drive insights and decisions.
  • Able to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, global environment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
