About the role
Solutions Sustainability is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Center Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data centers, ensuring they meet high standards of reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of data center infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Manage the procurement and installation of new hardware and software systems to support business growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center management or IT infrastructure operations.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of data center technologies, including cooling systems, power distribution, and network infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience with data center automation tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of green computing principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
