Job Responsibilities

Will be responsible for recruiting to include posting jobs, screening, batching and sending applicants to supervisors.

Ensure supervisors interview applicants in a timely manner;

Ensure proper hiring documents are received/sent for on-boarding ex. Transcripts, background checks, professional licenses, references & acceptance/welcome letters

Maintain position & interview files accordingly

Enter various HR transactions into Workday system

Proofread and edit documents. Appropriately file correspondence, records and other documents.

Maintain accurate status of positions;

Will research data and compose spreadsheets of various staffing data

Job Requirements

Answers questions from employees and/or management regarding recruiting, salary info and job descriptions, as well as other related questions

Will perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience performing human resources job-related functions;
  • One (1) year of experience required at the lower level HR Tech 1 (HRT010) or position equivalent.

Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of HR experience
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Ex. MS Office)
  • Experience working in HCM, and recruiting/applicant tracking HR software

  • Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.
  • CBH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered.
  • All positions require criminal history record check.
  • Required education credentials, license, certification and/or registration must be submitted prior to employment in the position.
  • Some positions require pre-employment drug testing in which the applicant who is offered the position will be required to successfully complete.
