HR Support Analyst
About the role
The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) seeks an HR Support Analyst II to provide broad personnel support and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver training
- Serve as a Disability payroll subject matter generalist
- Act as backup support for Position Control and Exams
- Research, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and regulations
- Assist with HR projects, policy development, and process improvements
Requirements
This position requires a strong understanding of personnel and payroll processes, along with the ability to research, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
Beginning July 1, 2026, CalRecycle staff will be office centered, requiring employees to report to the office at least four days per week. This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program needs.
Skills
A strong understanding of personnel and payroll processes, along with the ability to research, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and regulations.

Pay
$6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month
Schedule
Hybrid telework option available, with the requirement to report to the office at least four days per week beginning July 1, 2026.
