Human Resources Specialist (Total Rewards & Mobility) Position Summary: The Human Resources Specialist (Global Total Rewards & Mobility) partners closely with the HR Director of Total Rewards to lead the day-to-day coordination of global immigration, mobility, and cross-border employment matters across the company’s international footprint. This role serves as the primary operational point of contact for immigration cases, expatriate support, relocation logistics, and global tax coordination. The position requires deep attention to detail, strong knowledge of immigration and compliance processes, and the ability to manage complex, multi-country activities with precision and urgency. In parallel, this role continues to support the execution of the global total rewards strategy, including benefits administration and employee-facing support. This is a highly skilled, service-oriented role that combines strong administrative execution with strategic awareness and sound judgment. Location: Yuma, AZ Reports to: HR Director, Total Rewards FLSA Status: Exempt Job Status: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Global Immigration & Mobility Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for global immigration matters, partnering with internal HR, business leaders, immigration counsel, and mobility vendors. Coordinate visa sponsorships, renewals, work permits, residency registrations, and related compliance documentation across multiple countries. Track and monitor all immigration cases to ensure timely filings and adherence to local regulations. Maintain working knowledge of global immigration requirements to identify compliance risks and escalation points. Coordinate relocation and mobility logistics for expatriates and cross-border employees, including assignment documentation and vendor management. Partner with global tax advisors to coordinate tax-related compliance for international assignments (e.g., shadow payroll, tax equalization support). Maintain organized records and reporting to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance. Total Rewards & Benefits Administration Support the execution of global compensation and benefits strategies. Assist with market benchmarking, reporting, and analysis as needed. Administer global benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollments, updates, and vendor coordination. Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits and mobility matters with a high level of professionalism and service. Support wellness, recognition, and engagement initiatives. Compliance & Governance Ensure programs align with local and global employment, immigration, and benefits regulations. Maintain integrity and confidentiality of employee data. Support documentation, audits, and compliance reporting requirements. Identify process improvements to strengthen governance and consistency across regions. Communication & Customer Service Provide clear, accurate guidance to employees and leaders on immigration, mobility, tax coordination, and benefits topics. Develop communications and educational materials related to total rewards and mobility programs. Support onboarding and training sessions related to benefits and international assignments. Education Bachelor’s degree preferred. HR, Global Mobility, or Immigration-related certifications preferred. Experience / Skills / Abilities 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Total Rewards, Global Mobility, or Immigration. Strong understanding of immigration processes and cross-border employment compliance. Experience coordinating with external immigration counsel and tax advisors. Highly detail-oriented with strong project tracking and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously. Strategic thinker with strong operational execution capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in HRIS systems and reporting tools. Spanish language skills preferred. Job Expectations Full-time position based in Yuma, AZ, with occasional travel as needed. Ability to manage time-sensitive, confidential matters with urgency and discretion. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally matrixed environment.
