HR Specialist - Onsite Position

We’re looking for an HR Specialist who enjoys building relationships, finding great talent, and creating opportunities for employees to learn, develop, and succeed. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who wants to do more than just recruiting. You’ll spend approximately 50% of your time leading recruitment efforts and 50% supporting talent development initiatives and HR projects, giving you exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources and the opportunity to make an impact across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for primarily manufacturing and operational positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and find candidates who are a strong fit for both the role and GFS.
• Source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for hire.
• Career Development & Engagement:
  • Coordinate the hiring process from application through onboarding.
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Develop relationships with schools, technical colleges, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and look for ways to continuously improve our hiring process and candidate experience.
• Talent Development & Engagement:
  • Aid in employee development, onboarding, and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with performance management and talent review processes.
  • Create training materials, presentations, guides, and employee communications.
  • Help coordinate training and development programs.
  • Track participation and provide reporting and administrative support.
  • Partner with HR leadership on projects that support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Look for opportunities to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfortable partnering with employees, candidates, hiring managers, and leaders across the organization.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• A genuine interest in helping people find the right opportunities and grow within an organization.

Benefits

Pay Range: $22.32 – $30.00 per hour, based on your experience, skills, and qualifications. Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for an annual individual incentive based on company performance. Maximum bonus amounts may vary depending on role. Benefits: Eligible for standard company benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off, and other employee programs.
