About the role
Join our dynamic Employee Engagement team as an HR Specialist in our Shakopee, MN office. You will provide support to employees by answering general HR questions, processing and maintaining records, generating reports, and offering additional administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert frontline guidance and act as the first point of contact for employee queries related to policies, HR programs, paychecks, employee records, and personal information updates.
- Execute confidential administrative projects requiring considerable independent judgment, impacting internal/external customers or suppliers.
- Maintain daily contact with internal and external customers, originating communications with job seekers, current employees, and visitors.
- Serve as a liaison for the Human Resources staff, performing support duties such as conference or meeting planning, preparing sensitive documents, and coordinating department activities.
- Prepare queries and reports for the Human Resources function, requiring extensive analysis, and initiate actions based on these evaluations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
- 6 years of related experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with Oracle HR/HCM systems.
- Ability to generate and analyze reports.
- Bachelor’s degree (a plus).

Pay
The starting salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with skills, talent, capabilities, and experience.
