HR Specialist I

About the role

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) develops and manufactures large lithium-ion polymer batteries and packs for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage applications. You’ll support a broad range of Human Resources functions in the HR Planning Team, working closely with HR colleagues, business leaders, and employees to implement HR programs and policies and maintain HR systems such as HRIS, ADP, and Success Factors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR questions and policies
• Assist with organizational changes, employee transfers, and other transactions
• Support the performance management process
• Maintain employee records, HRIS updates, and HR documentation
• Support employee relations matters, including employee concerns and workplace investigations
• Support recruitment activities and the onboarding process
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and corporate events
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience
• 1 to 3+ years of related experience within HR
• Experience with ADP and other HCM/HRIS products with multiple modules preferred

Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and excellent knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and data validation abilities
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
