About the role
The HR Specialist (Bilingual Spanish) ensures an accurate, compliant, and people-centered team member experience by managing HR systems, delivering a seamless onboarding process, supporting benefits administration, and supporting occupational safety programs. This role safeguards operational integrity while creating a welcoming and professional first impression and helping maintain a safe, compliant workplace. This role also serves as a primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking team members by providing bilingual support, assisting with HR-related questions, and helping ensure clear communication throughout the employee lifecycle.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Pay
$58,000-$62,000 annual salary.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HRIS Administrator, ensuring accurate system administration, reporting, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of team member records.
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for Spanish-speaking team members by providing bilingual support, assisting with HR-related questions, and helping ensure clear communication throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Manage onboarding processes, including background checks, drug screenings, employment documentation, benefits setup, and I-9 compliance.
- Lead new hire orientation and create a welcoming, organized, and positive first-day experience.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, employee changes, claims resolution, leave coordination, and 401(k) reporting.
- Maintain occupational safety training records and partner with HR and Operations to develop and support safety and compliance programs.
- Improve HR processes and support company events, culture initiatives, and other HR responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous HR administration experience required; manufacturing or distribution experience strongly preferred.
- One to two years of experience with UKG Ready or a similar HRIS platform required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance while meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
