What You’ll Do
- Oversee and manage assigned projects and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
- Conduct data entry and data management for various department processes including benefits enrollments, classification changes, and COBRA enrollments
- Aid in the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, workflows, and project plans
- Manage and process claims, invoices, and resolve administrative problems with vendors
- Collaborate with external and internal partners to ensure efficient operations
- Perform regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Process monthly and annual PPACA reports and assist with annual review and auditing for 1095-Cs
- Handle benefits-related queries from internal and external stakeholders and resolve issues or discrepancies for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, H.S.A., FSA, 401(k), etc.
- Oversee monthly premium payments and reconciliations for financial reporting
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality
- Support the design, execution, and evaluation of the annual wellness program to meet the needs of employees and business goals
- Create communication strategies to promote and encourage participation in wellness programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant vendors to support wellness program activities
- Plan and execute annual Benefits Fairs
- Analyze employee data and feedback to refine and improve wellness program
What You’ll Need
- Working knowledge and understanding of PPACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, IRS Section 125 and other applicable legislations
- Experience using ADP WFN, SAP and time/attendance systems
- Understanding of federal and state regulatory benefit compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to remain confidential and handle sensitive data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through skills
- Proficient in Google Suite or related software
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
- Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
- Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist (CCWS)
- Experience working in the retail industry and a multi-state or large company (5,000 +)
- Experience working with commuter benefits
Required Education, Certifications/Licenses, Related Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a related field
- In lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
Physical Job Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- 25% travel required
