HR Specialist - ASAP!

A growing client is urgently looking for an HR Specialist to join a collaborative, fast-paced HR team. This role is ideal for someone with strong foundational HR knowledge and direct experience handling employee relations, leave administration, performance management, workplace investigations, and workers' compensation. This role is fully onsite near EL Segundo area - no relocation offered Hours: 9-6pm onsite Key ResponsibilitiesManage employee relations issues and provide day-to-day HR supportAdminister FMLA and other leaves of absenceSupport performance management, corrective actions, and workplace investigationsCoordinate workers' compensation and benefits mattersMaintain HRIS records and employee documentationSupport HR compliance, onboarding, offboarding, and recruitingPartner with payroll and benefits teams as neededManage multiple priorities and pivot quickly in a fast-moving environmentQualificationsBachelor's degree requiredHands-on HR Generalist or comparable HR experienceDirect experience with employee relations, FMLA/LOA, workers' comp, performance management, and investigationsWorking knowledge of HR compliance and employment practicesHRIS experience; Paychex is a plusStrong communication, judgment, and organizational skillsProactive, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working independentlyAbility to provide specific examples of handling real-world HR situationsPay: $80-85,000 direct hire Looking to hire ASAP!
