HR Senior Manager
Our client, a real estate company, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join its team in New York City. This role serves as a key HR partner across multiple business entities, supporting day-to-day human resources operations.
About the role
This position supports employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, performance management, and HR programs. The HR Manager works closely with senior leadership, finance, IT, and an external PEO to ensure a seamless employee experience and effective HR operations.
The ideal candidate brings strong generalist HR experience, thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and is a responsive, relationship-oriented professional who can confidently support leaders across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day human resources operations
- Manage employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management processes
- Work with a PEO environment and manage HR processes through an external provider
- Support payroll administration, timesheet tracking, and HRIS/timekeeping systems
- Coordinate recruiting efforts, interview processes, and background checks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of progressive human resources experience
- Experience supporting employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management
- Experience working with a PEO environment and managing HR processes through an external provider
- Experience supporting payroll administration, timesheet tracking, and HRIS/timekeeping systems
- Experience coordinating recruiting efforts, interview processes, and background checks
- Strong knowledge of benefits programs, 401(k) administration, and employee lifecycle management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Office 365
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills
Pay
$100K–$135K
