About the role
This role contributes to the day-to-day operations of HR while serving as a dependable and approachable resource for employees across the Cooperative. It offers flexibility in scope, allowing responsibilities to align with the individual’s experience and strengths.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy and integrity across HR systems.
- Supporting and navigating HRIS platforms and related technologies (PeopleSoft, iCIMS, Microsoft Products, Canva, and similar tools).
- Coeordinating pre-employment and compliance screenings (DOT/Non-DOT), employee programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Scheduling and coordinating interviews, meetings, and events.
- Supporting compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies through documentation, tracking, and reporting.
- Analyzing HR data and metrics (turnover, hiring trends, engagement, etc.) to identify patterns and support informed decision-making.
- Serving as a resource for employees by providing guidance on benefits, policies, and HR processes.
- Partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Contributing to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
- Contributing to ongoing HR projects and departmental initiatives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- (Preferred) Ability to learn and understand all HR technology.
- Understanding of the latest technology and working knowledge of MS products, PeopleSoft, Canva, iCIMS, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality without exception.
- Champions departmental and Cooperative initiatives.
