About the role
The Blue SkAI is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Representative to support our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and interviewing to onboarding new hires.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legal requirements.
- Aid in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Cook up training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives and promote a positive organizational culture.
- Aid in payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate compensation for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex employee relations issues.
- Passion for education and a deep understanding of Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, AGI, or Psychology is a plus.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
