Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process from start to finish, including identifying staffing needs, posting positions, reviewing resumes, conducting screenings, coordinating interviews.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, employee referrals, and community connections.
- Afford seasonal hiring needs during tax season, including temporary and administrative staffing.
- Cook up campus recruiting and help build relationships with colleges and universities for entry-level accounting and internship opportunities.
- Evaluate candidates for both technical qualifications and overall fit within the firm’s environment.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with partners and managers while maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare offer letters, onboarding, and help create a smooth transition for new employees joining the firm.
- Represent Smoker & Company LLC professionally at recruiting events, job fairs, and community networking opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting, HR, or staffing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.
- Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail.
- Experience recruiting in accounting, finance, or professional office environments is a plus.
