About the role
We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis in Greenwood Village, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, focusing on sourcing and hiring top-tier talent for corporate and mining industry roles. This position requires strategic thinking, strong stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial intake meetings with hiring managers to candidate onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract candidates for hard-to-fill and niche positions.
- Provide expert guidance on market trends, talent availability, and compensation strategies to support hiring decisions.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines by leveraging direct sourcing methods, networking, and relationship-based recruiting.
- Represent the company at career fairs, industry associations, and community hiring events to strengthen employer branding and expand talent pools.
- Act as a brand ambassador by effectively communicating the company's culture, values, and career opportunities to potential candidates.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws, company policies, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and provide regular updates to stakeholders on recruitment progress.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and share best practices across the team.
- Partner with internal teams to support employer branding and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a focus on corporate roles.
- Prior experience recruiting in the mining industry or similar project-based environments is highly preferred.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Proven expertise in utilizing applicant tracking systems to manage recruitment workflows.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and attracting candidates through direct outreach and networking.
- Familiarity with global recruiting practices and compliance standards is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
