HR Recruiter
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Recruiter to join our team in Findlay, Ohio. This onsite role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for positions ranging from entry-level to senior-level across all areas of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for entry-level through senior-level positions.
Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, company websites, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
Lead and enhance the company’s social media recruiting presence.
Review applications, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and evaluate qualifications.
Verify references and coordinate candidate selection processes.
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Participate in job fairs, career events, and community recruiting activities as needed.
Onboarding & New Hire Support
Coordinate new hire paperwork, background checks, and drug screenings.
Facilitate onboarding activities, including first-day orientation and new hire training.
Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and timely.
Support a smooth and engaging transition for new associates.
Training & Development
Assess training and development needs for new and existing associates.
Identify external and internal training resources to address skill gaps.
Facilitate training through classroom instruction, virtual learning, and on-the-job coaching.
Support manager development through coaching and training recommendations.
Internship Program Management
Career recruiting, orientation, assignments, and development.
Monitor intern progress and provide coaching and support.
Partner with managers to ensure a meaningful internship experience.
HR Compliance & Continuous Improvement
Stay current on labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Aid in policy and procedure development to support organizational goals.
Recommend improvements to recruiting, onboarding, and training processes.
Support initiatives that enhance company culture, employee engagement, and retention.
Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience.
Experience with recruiting and talent acquisition processes.
Knowledge of HR systems, databases, and applicant tracking systems.
Understanding of labor laws and HR best practices related to interviewing, hiring, and training.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Preferred: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
Experience leading training and development programs.
Social media recruiting experience.

Primarily office-based, onsite in Findlay, Ohio. Frequent interaction and collaboration with team members. Low to moderate office noise levels. Occasional exposure to moderate to high noise levels in warehouse environments.
