Summary

The HR Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment efforts for the organization under the direction of the Director of HR.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Post position openings promptly, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity in postings
  • Manage job advertising campaigns on various platforms and report to the Director of HR regarding spending
  • Attend hiring and outreach events at colleges and universities, career/workforce centers, and/or other hiring agencies
  • Review application materials of candidates including resumes, cover letters, transcripts, etc.
  • Conduct candidate screenings for applicants
  • Schedule and participate in interviews for candidates
  • Develop and revise screening and interview questions for positions
  • Develop and revise job descriptions under the direction of the Director of HR
  • Track and report on recruitment/hiring statistics and information to the Director of HR
  • Maintain accurate and thorough recruitment and candidate records
  • Extend job offers over the phone and via email, and schedule next orientation steps with candidates
  • Aid with special projects as assigned by the Director of HR

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • College degree in human resources or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in Human Resources is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to transport materials to different facilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail & ensure accuracy across documents
  • Pass a background study issued by the Minnesota Department of Human Services

Hours

This role is designated for Business Hours, Monday-Friday

The employee is occasionally required to sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. This individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This individual must be able to read, write and comprehend.

Work Environment: This individual’s work environment is normally performed in a typical office setting. The work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Due to multiple program locations, this individual must have transportation to drive between program locations. This individual may rarely be exposed to blood or body fluids. The noise level is generally quiet to moderate. This position is designated as in-person.
