HR Program Coordinator (Workforce Pathways & Programs)
Placement within the salary range is dependent on relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
Pay
$26.63 - $39.95 hourly

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the Northwestern Medicine Scholars Program and broader Westinghouse College Prep partnership working directly with the students, Advisory Board, school leadership and Foundation grantors.
- Coordinate pipeline initiatives in partnership with the NM Academy.
- Lead coordination and completion of external workforce award applications including writing essays, compiling key data and metrics from across the organization (i.e. Working Mother 100 Best, HEI LGBT survey, Beckers Top Companies to Work For and other regional awards).
- Support and coordinate employee recognition program and events in partnership with Employee Programs Manager.
- Professionally represent Northwestern Memorial HealthCare by attending appropriate external and internal events and meetings related to recognition, pipeline and diversity activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all community partners, customers, vendors.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the HR division and serve as a project team member for various HR projects.
- Seek to continually improve and enhance HR workforce initiatives and employee programs through automation and streamlining.
- Work with Senior Vice President of HR on projects as needed including writing board reports.
- Complete administrative tasks/projects supporting the Director, Human Resources including meeting scheduling, management of P.O./invoices.
- Independently plan and execute activities in support of projects and meetings such as room scheduling, signage, catering, equipment, appropriate notifications.
- Coordinate monthly HR team meetings.
- Adhere to project timelines and able to independently navigate obstacles.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks and projects as directed.
- Adapt behaviors and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, customer needs, and unexpected outcomes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrated mastery of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Access and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
- Detail oriented with natural commitment to follow through.
- Professional and polished.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Flexible and demonstrates comfort with ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft and web-content management.
- Master's degree.
