About the role
This role serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and employees, providing expertise across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, change management, and HR compliance.Responsibilities
- Supports business transformation initiatives, organizational changes, and workforce transitions.
- Helps drive positive employee engagement and business performance.
- Leads organizational change initiatives, restructures, workforce transitions, and workforce planning efforts.
- Provides coaching and guidance on employee engagement, performance management, talent decisions, and business challenges.
- Uses HR metrics and data to inform workforce and business decisions.
- Works with HR systems and tools, including Workday, SAP, ServiceNow/AskHR, and Microsoft Office.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, corrective actions, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with HR systems and tools, including Workday, SAP, ServiceNow/AskHR, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- HR Business Partner, People Partner, or related HR experience supporting managers and employees in fast-paced business environments.
- 3+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or frontline workforce environments.
- Experience working in unionized environments and partnering on labor relations matters.
- Experience supporting reorganizations, workforce transitions, and reductions in force (RIFs).
- Demonstrated success driving people strategies and business outcomes during periods of transformation and change.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication capabilities across all organizational levels.
