HR & Payroll Specialist

PAYROLL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide necessary support of timecard approvals for payroll.
• Learn to process the biweekly U.S. payroll (400+ employees across 32+ states).
• Provide records to third parties for processing monthly payrolls in Germany and the UK (50+ employees).
• Support China payroll as necessary (15+ employees).
• Learn to process off-cycle bonus and commission payrolls as necessary.
• Enter employee status changes in UKG.
• Provide employees with necessary time clock training.
• Aid employees in understanding PTO accruals, holidays, bereavement, jury duty benefits and answer related questions.
• Maintain all personnel records and documentation - scanning into UKG.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• Seeking 2+ years' payroll experience, L&D a plus.
• Must have experience with an HRIS system; UKG preferred.
• Accounting experience a plus.
• Experience handling Multi-state payroll.
• Able to effectively use spreadsheet, word-processing and database software – UKG and PayScale highly desirable.

• Good judgment in working with people, maintaining an appropriate balance of representing the company and its policies but also being an advocate for the employees and their well being.

PAY

Typical pay for this position is $55,000-75,000 annually. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected.

SCHEDULE

This is a fully on-site, Monday-Friday, 8-5pm role at our Champaign, Illinois location.
