HR/Payroll Coordinator

About the role

Administer and perform human resources/payroll functions to the community in accordance with current acceptable accounting principles relating to operations, state and federal regulations, and as directed by the Administrator. Assist with recruitment, onboarding and retention of employees. Accurately maintain the community nursing staff schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of employees
• Maintain accurate nursing staff schedules

Education/Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum two years of experience in payroll and/or HR administration
• Working knowledge of laws and regulations concerning payroll/personnel administration in nursing care facilities, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, Workers’ compensation, and unemployment
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate HRIS software
