About the role

We're seeking an HR Operations Specialist who excels at creating exceptional employee experiences and managing HR operations efficiently. Your responsibilities will span the entire employee lifecycle, from initial interviews to ongoing support.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee status changes.
  • Support recruiting activities, including interview scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Process promotions, transfers, compensation changes, leaves, and terminations.
  • Administer employee benefits and support enrollment activities.
  • Serve as a resource for employee benefit questions.
  • Support payroll processing, audits, and employee inquiries.
  • Care for open enrollment and leave administration.
  • Maintain accurate data in HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.
  • Generate reports and workforce metrics.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, and automation initiatives.
  • Help ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Support audits, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Act as a first point of contact for HR questions.
  • Support employee engagement, communication, and HR programs.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of HR operations, HR administration, or HR generalist experience.
  • Experience with benefits administration and HR systems.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes and employment law compliance.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Multi-state HR experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting payroll, benefits, and leave administration preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification preferred.
