HR Operations Associate

About the role

An entertainment organization in New York City is actively seeking a new HR Operations Associate to support HR systems, data governance, reporting, compliance, and process documentation.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, standard business hours, hybrid setting (at least 4 days a week).

Responsibilities

• Maintain HR data integrity by performing audits, quality checks, and remediation efforts
• Support recurring and ad hoc HR reporting, including validating outputs and maintaining reporting assets
• Troubleshoot HRIS and employee data issues, partnering with stakeholders to resolve workflow and transaction problems
• Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, process maps, training materials, and other HR documentation
• Support compliance activities, audits, regulatory reporting, and maintenance of policy and position data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HR Operations or HRIS
• Hands-on experience with Workday
• Strong Excel skills, including reporting and data reconciliation
• Experience investigating and resolving HR data, reporting, and system issues
• Experience creating SOPs, process documentation, job aids, and training materials
• Experience supporting regulatory reporting, audits, and data quality initiatives
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience with HRIS testing and User Acceptance Testing
• Experience supporting cross-functional HR projects and process improvement initiatives
• Experience with Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart
