HR Onboarding Specialist

Essential Functions

• Aid in creating and maintaining filing systems including new hire paperwork
• Complete all necessary steps for new hires
• Administer benefits for new hires and assist during open enrollment
• Update employee perks on a monthly basis
• Handle all steps in the termination process
• Complete I-9 forms, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files
• Participate in maintaining the office space for cleanliness and stocking on-boarding supplies
• Support the HR team with recognition programs and events throughout the year
• Audit team member files
• Relay arrival information to the housing manager and assist with coordination of arrival transportation
• Assist with recruitment and interview processes
• Track status of candidates in HRIS
• Open and post open jobs and write job descriptions
• Post on social media related to recruiting and advertising
• Perform photocopying, mailing, scanning, and emailing of documents
• File documents into appropriate team member files
• Potentially assist with housing tasks such as assignments, inventory, invoices, rent payments, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
