HR Manager, Sr. - Remote

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Human Resources is responsible for providing strategic leadership across all HR functions while reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This role oversees talent acquisition, HR operations, compliance, organizational development, performance management, and workforce planning. The successful candidate will partner with firm leadership to develop talent strategies, strengthen organizational culture, and lead a high-performing HR team across a fully remote, multi-time-zone environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all firm-wide human resources functions.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational design.
• Serve as the primary HR liaison to firm leadership.
• Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives.
• Lead and mentor the Human Resources team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the full-cycle recruitment process across all organizational levels.
• Develop and execute firm-wide recruiting strategies.
• Partner with practice and department leaders on hiring forecasts.
• Manage relationships with external recruiting and search firms.
• Track recruiting metrics and evaluate hiring effectiveness.
• Build programs that attract and retain diverse talent.
• Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations.
• Co-manage employment law compliance and policy development.
• Oversee updates to the Employee Handbook.
• Ensure audit readiness of HR documentation and records.
• Maintain compliance with employment regulations and internal policies.
• Exercise sound judgment in sensitive HR matters.
• Oversee the annual performance review process.
• Support compensation planning and real-time feedback initiatives.
• Manage HR operations, including HRIS governance and data integrity.
• Collapse coordination of HR activities with Payroll, Finance, IT, and Operations teams.
• Support benefits administration and HR operational continuity.
• Present HR dashboards and workforce analytics to executive leadership.
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
• Assist the Chief Operating Officer with firm-wide career development programs.
• Promote employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide guidance on organizational culture and talent development.
• Support leadership with strategic workforce decisions.
• Drive initiatives that strengthen employee retention and professional growth.

Requirements

• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of ten years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Minimum of three years in a senior HR leadership role.
• Previous law firm Human Resources experience.
• Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance, benefits administration, and full-cycle recruiting.
• Proven experience leading and developing Human Resources teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple time zones.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree.
• SHRM-SCP certification.
• SPHR certification.
• Experience with ViGlobal.
• Experience supporting organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
• Experience developing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
