Responsibilities Manage recruiting, onboarding, and new-hire paperwork for craft and office rolesCoordinate with staffing agencies supplying contract laborAdminister payroll inputs, timekeeping, benefits enrollment, and leaveHandle employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary documentationMaintain personnel files and ensure compliance with employment laws and policiesSupport safety, drug and alcohol testing, and workers' compensation programs Requirements HR generalist or HR manager experienceWorking knowledge of employment law, payroll, and benefits administrationExperience supporting hourly or skilled-trades workforcesStrong organization, communication, and confidentiality Preferred Requirements Shipyard, manufacturing, or industrial HR experienceSHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certificationExperience with high-volume hiring
