HR Manager/ Generalist

Location: League City, TX – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional with strong knowledge and expertise in payroll and benefits to join an award‑winning chemical‑operations site. The role is embedded within an operational, industrial environment, supporting a diverse workforce across engineering, operations, projects, maintenance, and commercial functions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on‑site HR payroll and benefits correspondent supporting managers and employees across engineering, operations, maintenance, projects, safety, and commercial functions.
• Deliver core HR activities including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, and policy guidance.
• Build strong relationships across the plant to support engagement, retention, and organisational effectiveness while ensuring consistent HR practices.
• Partner with operational leadership to support a safe, high‑performing workforce within a regulated industrial environment.

Requirements

• Previous HR payroll and benefits experience within industrial environments such as chemical plants, refineries, terminals, tank farms, manufacturing facilities, or heavy‑industry operations.
• Experience supporting technical and operational populations including engineers, technicians, operators, project teams, maintenance personnel, and field‑based employees.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, stakeholder management, and delivering HR solutions in fast‑paced site environments.
• Practical, visible, and relationship‑led approach with the confidence to influence across all levels of an operational business.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 per annum, plus bonus and strong benefits. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
